[ He doesn't know what the circumstances were that led to Eun's fall and subsequent rebirth as a demon, and despite the lengths he's gone, he knows that it's an incredibly intimate question to be asking. Prodding what she did earlier, why she did that and if it had anything to do with that, it felt ... wrong. It's no wonder that she closed herself off like she did, thinking on it.
But at least here, he can show that he's willing to let her come forward about any of it on her own terms, if she so desired.

He fills the kettle, flipping it on once it's filled, and starts rifling through his tea stocks to see what would be best.
