Lord and Peacemaker: Leader of one of the more prevalent vampire clans on the West Coast of the US, and a proponent of trying to unite the supernatural factions, Jaehyuk, while a benevolent leader and well-respected among his peers, also was targeted for his ideals. He would be the one to plant the seeds of hope within his clan, taking under his wing someone who understood his vision for the future as well as could trust with the mission if something had ever happened to him. (His planning had paid off, especially considering that his worst fears came true about someone trying to stop his efforts from coming into fruition) Polite and well-spoken in most circumstances, but with a mischievous and flirty streak around those he feels more comfortable with.

Rebirth: As a result of his relationships with other beings as well as his continued efforts to try and unite the different factions, Jaehyuk was unfortunately assassinated by a political rival, but then also subsequently resurrected by the Leviathan himself as a result of a demon by the name of Rook begging him to save Jae's life (not that Levi would ever admit to it and relies more heavily on the fact of Jae's resurrection causing more chaos to be the real reason why he did it. It's not totally wrong, but there's a tiny bit more to it than he wants to admit.). Ironically, however, due to Jaehyuk's first action being punching Leviathan in the face, he was gifted the Cardinal of Wrath. This meant that his new powers were now affected by his temper and that he would now be working under the demon Amon to cause chaos.

Lord of Wrath: He eventually ends up killing Amon as she had his own bastard son under her thrall, using him in an attempt to dismantle the tenuous strings of an alliance that his clan had with human hunters and attempting to incite not only a coup, but potentially a war. Ends up being installed as the new Lord of Wrath as a result.

PERSONALITY GOES HERE

As a vampire, Jaehyuk does come with the standard perks of being a member of the undead - supernatural strength, speed, and regeneration to a certain extent. As a vampire, blood is about the only means of sustenance he can keep down. He can drink other liquids to keep up the facade of being human, but it eventually comes back later on (so he limits it to if he absolutely needs to keep up that facade). Being as old as he is, he only needs to feed once every few weeks, but depending on if he uses his other abilities to any sort of extent, he might need more. Fresh blood has the most "life" in it, hence it being the best means of sustenance. Bagged blood can be a viable short-term substitute, but not for extended periods of time.

As with most "noble" bloodlines in the vampire clans, Jaehyuk does have a bloodline ability that he inherited from his maker, in his case, being able to use stronger glamours than what the average vampire can do. He can exert his hold for longer periods of time, break through some mental defenses that others aren't able to, and not need to hold eye contact as long for it to hold. The main downside is that exerting this ability for too long does leave him drained, and depending on how complicated his orders, can be difficult to hold. It was a very helpful tool in ascending to his title back in the day, but most days he prefers gentle coercion rather than outright overriding anyone's free will. Tends to work better in the long run.

As far as weaknesses are concerned, he can shrug off silver to an extent (it's more like a severe allergic reaction than anything, and slows healing until he drinks blood) and is burned by holy water but not outright killed from it, but is still susceptible to sunlight, beheading, and being staked (the latter being how he was assassinated in the first place).
